Borrower Portal 2.0 (Desktop & Mobile)

We’ve launched a fully redesigned Borrower Portal with a cleaner interface, improved navigation, and expanded functionality for borrowers.

What’s New

New Dashboard & Navigation

  • Updated layout and navigation structure

  • Improved header for clearer access to actions

  • More intuitive overview of loans in Origination and Servicing


Improved Application Experience

  • Streamlined application flow

  • Clearer progress indicators

  • Improved borrower and guarantor selection and mapping

  • Better validation for required fields

  • Updated downloadable application PDF format

This redesign improves accuracy and reduces borrower confusion during submission.


Enhanced Documents Section

  • Cleaner document listing and organization

  • Improved file preview experience

  • Support for additional file types (including HEIC)

  • Improved handling of large document names

  • Performance improvements for loans with many document requests


Budget (Scope of Work) Improvements

Available in both Origination and Servicing:

Payments (Borrower View)

  • Full Draw experience redesign

  • Mobile-friendly request flows

  • Improved balance display logic

  • Cleaner activity tracking

  • File preview improvements within draws

  • Support for additional file formats (PDF, HEIC, PNG, TXT, CSV, MOV)

More accurate rounding and labeling behavior


Loan Application Builder Improvements (Lender Side)

Auto-Save & Draft Publishing (New)

  • Applications now auto-save

  • Ability to save as Draft and publish when ready

  • Reduces risk of data loss

Sticky Header (New)

  • Application Builder header now remains visible while scrolling

  • Improves usability on long forms

  • Borrower payment amounts are properly locked where required


Payment Editing Enhancements (New Capability)

We’ve introduced improved tools for editing payments inside a loan with:

  • Clearer tooltips and confirmation messaging

  • Stronger validation when adjusting payment allocations

These updates increase financial accuracy while preserving flexibility for servicing teams.


Inbox & Email Improvements

  • More reliable email sending

  • Better handling of spam complaints

  • Improved file attachment handling (PDF / Word support)

  • Stronger permission enforcement when accessing loans via email links

  • Encoding improvements for consistent email formatting


Other Improvements

  • Prevent users from changing products on loans already in servicing

  • Added Mobile Home as a property type platform-wide

  • Added “Attorney” as a role under Closing Agent in Origination

  • Tool-tip added for Number of Grace Days in Loan Settings

  • Improved handling of long document names

  • Enhanced file upload validation (type & size checks)

  • Improved document instruction editing on loans

  • Security improvements around encryption and upload validation

  • Improved reporting reliability (Insurance reports, statements, maturity dates)

  • Multiple integration reliability improvements (Payments, Flood, Credit, Webhooks)

  • Borrower loop merge tags now support additional borrower fields, including addresses.

  • Address merge tag added to Document Request notifications.

  • Improved support for referencing banking details in documents.

  • Guarantor field mapping improvements to ensure merge tags populate correctly.

  • API improvements to better support person-level metadata (including Created Date).


API Improvements

This release also includes numerous fixes that improve:

  • Import handling for maturity dates

  • API consistency when handling zero values
