Configure default notifications for admins and borrowers. Customize content, use merge tags, and choose email or in-app delivery.

Overview

Notifications under Company Settings allow administrators to configure the default notifications for all new loans and team members. These notifications inform users (borrowers and admins) about key events in the system. Notifications can be sent via Email, System Notifications, or both. Users can customize the content and language of each notification and add predefined merge tags for dynamic content.


Notification Categories and Recipients

Below is the breakdown of the notifications, their purposes, and who receives them:

Notification Configuration

  1. Accessing Notifications:

    • Go to Company Settings > Notifications.

    • Notifications are grouped into categories: Budgets, Documents, Draw Requests, E-Signature, General, Offerings, Origination, and Payments.

  2. Editing Notifications:

    • Click on the "" menu next to any notification.

    • Select Edit to open the configuration panel.

    • Customize the notification language and content using merge tags for dynamic data insertion.

  3. Setting Delivery Method:

    • Options include:

      • Email & Notification (default)

      • Email Only

      • Notification Only

    • Adjust this via the dropdown menu next to each notification.

  4. Enabling/Disabling Notifications:

    • Toggle the Enabled switch on or off to activate/deactivate specific notifications.


Key Notes

  • Borrower Notifications: Designed for borrower-facing communication, such as payment reminders, loan approvals, or document requests.

  • Admin Notifications: Focused on internal team members to track loan progress, tasks, and document changes.

  • Customizability: You can tailor the language, content, and delivery method for each notification.
