July 16, 2026 - Release Notes

This release focuses on document sharing, smarter email routing, expanded reporting on integrations, and an upgrade on our settings experience — alongside a wide range of refinements to payments, automations, and everyday platform polish.

Documents

Sharing a document is now clearer about exactly what the recipient will get.

The Share button is now a dropdown for documents that can be converted — Word and Excel files offer Share as PDF or Share as the original format, so you decide whether a recipient gets an editable copy or a locked-down view. Read-only files like PDFs, images, and CSVs share exactly as they always have, with no extra step.

Along with that, we have some improvements and upgrades including:

  • Brokers can now be selected as a recipient when sharing documents tied to their own profile.

  • Zoom in and out on any document in the viewer using new zoom buttons in the header and a zoom percentage selector.

  • Document templates that loop over borrowers or guarantors can now include each person's or entity's tax ID (SSN/EIN)

  • Generated PDFs support file names with accented and other non-ASCII characters.

Email & Notifications

We've introduced enhanced routing controls for borrower communications and internal notifications, giving you greater precision and oversight. A new Default Recipient setting under Notifications settings now allows you to specify exactly who receives a borrower's reply when no loan or contact owner is available, ensuring all communications are managed efficiently and nothing falls through the cracks.

Alongside this, we have:

  • The email recipient dropdown in an email composer now shows each of your team members' loan role, with a "+N" badge for anyone holding multiple roles, and Broker contacts are labeled correctly.

  • The docked mail view's recipient arrow now opens the same detail menu as an email in the main Inbox.

  • Long recipient lists on an email can be viewed in full.

  • Application Received notifications now route specifically to the members on the loan, falling back sensibly to the most recently active admin.

  • Documents uploaded before the application is submitted no longer trigger a notification — your team hears about it once the application is finally submitted by the borrower.

  • We are currently upgrading the Trust Balance email merge tag to support more robust data reporting, with an enhanced version coming soon.

  • The payment-failed notification setting has been labeled to specify it applies to borrower-initiated payments.

Integrations

More of your third-party data now lives in one place.

Connecting Baseline to the tools you already rely on is now as simple as browsing an app store. The new Integrations Marketplace, found under Company Settings, brings every third-party integration — credit, flood, fraud, payment, and document providers — into a single page, each with its own card and a one-click Connect or Disconnect action. Credential setup that used to live scattered across general Workspace Settings now happens right in the integration's own modal, so activating a new provider takes seconds instead of a hunt through settings menus.

Also in this release:

  • Workspace Features settings are now grouped into five clear sections — Modules, Loan Tabs, Integrations, Automation & AI, and Security & Access — for easier navigation.

Payments & Loan Servicing

Refinements to how payments, charges, and imports behave under the hood.

  • The payment card in a loan now flags a manually-entered Principal & Interest value with an "Overridden" badge and a one-click "Reset to calculated" option.

  • Charges can now be made payable to a Broker contact.

  • The "Received" and "Release-after" dates on payments are now persistent; editing other payment details no longer affects these values, ensuring data integrity during edits.

  • The default "Broker" charge tag has been introduced inside calculated math merge fields.

  • Resetting an overridden Principal & Interest value restores the system-calculated formula and Regular Payment in one step.

  • Per diem and mid-month paydown rounding are more precise, rounding half-cent values up consistently with your configured rounding rules.

  • The Payment Returned notification can now use your customized message for borrower-initiated ACH reversals.

  • Loan imports carry over each fee's enabled/disabled setting from the product level.

  • Clearing a field value restores the product's inherited default formula.

Automations

  • Automations show a clear, actionable message when a borrower merge tag isn't resolvable yet — for example, before an email address is available at trigger time.

  • Multi-condition automations wait for every configured condition to be met before triggering.

  • Automation Log entries for role-assignment actions now name the specific role

Reports, Dashboard & Metrics

  • Xactus Credit and Fraud reports, and BusinessScreen due-diligence reports, now appear in the Third Party Documents report alongside Cotality and Lightning Docs — with full status tracking and export support.

  • Metric cards display full numbers up to five digits before abbreviating, and hovering over an abbreviated value shows the exact number.

  • Dashboard graphs apply the striped treatment only to values below zero.

  • Very large metric calculations display in full instead of scientific notation.

  • The formula display for custom metrics adapts cleanly to smaller screens.

  • The Investors admin page loads reliably.

Loans, Applications & Collateral

  • When a collateral property has multiple units with individual Market Rent or Actual Rent values, fields that reference those values now sum across all units — with new "Total " formula and merge-tag options for easy reference.

  • Field unlocks and formula updates made after clicking "Customize" on a loan save and load faster.

  • Loan Triage's loan-type list is now synced with the application and sorted alphabetically.

  • Broker profile documents are labeled "Broker Instructions."

  • Quotes require a selection in key dropdowns before continuing, ensuring accurate results.

  • Newly added collateral properties are appended to the list in the order you enter them.

  • Adding a new address is quicker and smoother, with a snappier response and steadier performance behind the scenes.

  • Address_Latitude and Address_Longitude values save and return correctly via the public API when the client has created those custom fields.

  • Payment schedule generation supports very large numeric values.

  • A dedicated role permission for the Triage module lets Member-level users be granted access without needing full Admin permissions.

  • The phone-number entry screen for two-factor authentication now displays the SMS consent disclosure required for 10DLC compliance.

Platform & Navigation (smaller polish)

Never lose track of what's on your plate.

A new numeric badge next to the Tasks item in your navigation shows exactly how many to-do and in-progress tasks are assigned to you — no need to click in just to check where things stand. The count updates in real time as tasks are created, completed, or reassigned, shows "99+" once you're past that threshold, and disappears automatically the moment your list is clear, so it's only ever visible when it's actually useful.

  • Breadcrumb navigation displays the full path when moving between reports, contacts, and loans.

  • The Inbox "select all" checkbox reflects a fully-checked state when all items are checked manually.

  • Scroll behavior for tasks with long subtasks is smoother.

  • Icon and text alignment in Automation Log results is polished.

  • Spacing on the broker notice on the Contacts page is refined.

  • Checkbox alignment on the Funding page is improved.

  • Spacing around the Search item in the side navigation is cleaner.

  • The Scope of Work budget bulk-edit header stays stable while scrolling.

And various improvements behind the scenes to improve your overall experience with Baseline.
