Oct 8, 2026 - Release Notes

New features and functionality improvements released on October 8th, 2026

This release focuses on correcting payment history by holding payments, pinning closing versions of loan documents, and automating application requests, alongside clearer investor views, broker visibility controls, and refinements across payments, draws, reports, and the public API.

Payments & Loan Servicing

Holding Payments

Park a collected payment while you work on your loan history.

Placing a payment On Hold preserves its received amount and date while the loan history is open for edits. Held payments are hidden by default, with an On Hold filter to bring them back into view.

When your changes are complete, re-apply the payment as you would any new payment. Re-applying a held payment is unavailable if a later payment was applied during the hold, keeping the loan history in sequence.

Other Improvements to Payments

Along with that, we have some improvements and upgrades including:

  • Restoring a reversed payment brings back only the payout activity removed by that reversal, so each distribution keeps a single active investor payout. A payout that was reversed and not re-paid stays reversed, and its distribution returns to the Ready queue.

  • Processing a payout to a bank account records a single transaction.

  • The payment preview in the modification wizard uses a manually entered Principal & Interest amount during a modification period.

  • Statements generate for amortized loans that have no amortization term, showing "-" where there is no next-payment projection.

  • With Effective Until set to Current, a loan that catches up on payments within the Default After window leaves Default status.

  • Funding transaction details display the wire reference number and check number.

  • Payments Remaining displays "-" when a loan has no term or maturity.

  • Investor yields in the funding flow display as a percentage.

  • The Next Payment Amount email merge tag renders the loan's next regular payment amount.

  • Borrower Portal statement downloads deliver the statement for the selected period.

Documents

Pinning Closing Versions

Keep every loan file exactly as it was at closing.

When a loan first reaches Approved, Closed, or Sold, the current version of each document on the loan is pinned as that loan's closing version.

Closing versions are marked with a lock icon, stay in place as newer versions are uploaded, and are the versions included in your lender-side document package.

When newer versions exist, a banner in the version menu reads This document has been updated post-closing, along with a Show updated version(s) option. Select Make closing version from a version's menu to make another version the closing version.

The public API returns the pinned closing version of a document, and version lists are ordered newest first on both profile and loan documents. Plus, deleting or moving a version that serves as another loan's closing version asks you to confirm first.

Other Improvements to Documents

Along with that, we have some improvements and upgrades including:

  • Save to Documents in a budget's More Options menu saves a PDF of the full budget to the Collateral section for that budget's collateral item, then opens it.

  • Bulk document package ZIP files are named after the loan.

  • A client logo merge field is available in Word and in-app editor templates.

  • Lightning Docs documents open from the document list after generation, and generation supports numeric County and Parcel ID values.

  • Sending a document for e-signature shows a clear message when a signer's email address is missing or isn't valid.

  • The My Documents tab in the Borrower Portal loads faster.

Funds & Investors

Investor Roll Ups

Funding Sources on a fund are rolled up into one row per investor, showing totals for Invested, Returned, Balance, Income, and DRIP. Expand a row to see each underlying funding entry, and select an investor's name to open their profile.

Other Improvements to Investor Management

  • Investor statements present loan investments and fund investments in separate sections, with fund investments grouped beneath a header for each fund.

  • The Active, Pending, and Liquidated status filters on an investor's Investments tab match the status chip shown on each row.

Automations

New Action: Request a New Application

A new Request a New Application action sends a new application request email automatically when an automation runs. It goes to the loan's primary broker, or to the primary borrower/guarantor when no broker is assigned.

It sends once per loan, for loans in Lead, Processing, or Underwriting, and loans that already have an application requested or submitted are skipped.

New Trigger: Intake Form is Submitted

  • A new Intake form is submitted trigger lets you build automations that start when a guest submits a loan intake form.

Brokers

New Setting for Broker Portal Loan Visibility

A Broker Loan Visibility setting on each loan lets you decide whether a loan appears in the Borrower Portal when brokers are assigned to a loan.

Applications, Draws, and Scope of Work

  • The application preview now shows the current Application version available in the Borrower Portal.

  • The Borrower Portal draws list displays the approved amount once a draw is approved or released.

  • Long section and work item names wrap in the draw request drawer.

Reports

  • Saved layouts, including column renames, restore for row-grouped custom reports.

  • Custom reports open across all report configurations.

Product Templates, Charges, and Quotes

  • Fees turned off in Loan Customization are removed from the loan's Charges table, while manually adjusted charges and charges with posted transactions are retained.

  • Archived loan programs are excluded from quote inputs, sizing, and lender eligibility.

  • The Primary Property badge is applied automatically to the sole property on single-property loans, and loans with no primary property will be updated to match.

  • Remove from loan on a loan's Contacts tab applies to every contact, including those who hold more than one role, and clears all of their roles at once.

  • New products start with a streamlined set of default Charges, Document Slots, and Settings:

    • Wire, Processing, and Origination (Points) fees enabled

    • Four core borrower documents enabled

    • Due day set to 1

    • 360-day year setting applied

    • Origination default calculates as 2% of the loan amount

Platform & Navigation

  • Denial Notice emails display with consistent spacing beneath the template.

  • The notifications menu, document viewer, scope of work bulk edit, and upload messages include performance refinements.

Integrations & API

  • The public API supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication, so integrations can authenticate through your identity provider in addition to Baseline API tokens.

  • The public API's loan document listing matches the Documents tab in the lender portal.

  • Updating a loan through the public API returns a clear validation message when product_id isn't a valid product ID.

  • Business Screen credentials in the Integrations Marketplace use the labels Client ID, Client Secret, and Client Rep Email.
