Add Borrowers

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for lenders to add borrowers to the Baseline system.

To add a borrower, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Borrowers” section.

  2. Click the “Add Borrower” in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Select between “Personal” or “Corporate” borrower and click next.

Personal Borrower

If you are creating a personal borrower:

  1. Enter information about the Borrower.
    - Only the name is a required field.

  2. Select if you want to invite the borrower to the portal

  3. Click Next.

  4. Add an address to the borrower.
    - Adding an address is optional. However, it might be required when generating documents.

  5. Click Save

👉 Personal Borrowers are individuals, and in a loan, they can serve as Borrowers or Guarantors

💡Personal Borrowers can Log to Baseline's Borrower Portal when invited

ℹ️Note: If you select “Invite Borrower”, the borrower will receive an email prompting them to sign into their Borrower Portal.

Corporate Borrower

If you are creating a corporate borrower:

  1. Enter information about the Borrower.
    - Only the name is a required field.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Add an address to the borrower.
    - Adding an address is optional. However, it might be required when generating documents.

  4. Click Save
