Borrowers

To view a comprehensive list of borrowers engaged with your platform, navigate to Contacts and then click Borrowers on the left-hand navigation panel.

The Borrowers Management Page allows users to view, manage, and organize borrower records in the platform. The page is divided into key components that facilitate streamlined borrower tracking and interaction:

  1. Tabs for Borrower Filtering:

    • All: Displays all borrowers, both individuals and companies.

    • Companies: Filters borrower records to show only companies.

    • People: Filters borrower records to show only individual borrowers.

  2. Borrower Details Table:

    • Name: Lists the names of borrowers (individuals or companies).

    • Associated With: Displays any entities, individuals, or companies linked to the borrower.

    • Account Owner: Indicates the user or team member responsible for managing this borrower.

    • Last Activity: Shows the most recent borrower login to Baseline.

    • Status: Reflects the current status of the borrower, such as "Draft or "Active".

  3. Search and Action Bar:

    • Search Bar: Enables users to quickly locate borrowers by name or other identifiers.

    • Export: Allows users to download the borrower data for offline use or reporting using the filters and current view.

    • Add Borrower: Opens a form to create a new borrower record.

Add a Borrower

To add a new borrower, click Add Borrower at the top right-hand of the Borrowers' dashboard.

Personal

In the popup, select the Account Type (Personal or Corporate). Click Next.

In case of a Personal borrower, enter the following details in the next step:

  1. Customer Name

  2. Gender

  3. Date of Birth

  4. Social Security Number

  5. Citizenship

  6. Credit Score

  7. Marital Status

  8. Phone

  9. Email

If you are filling in the information on behalf of a prospective borrower, select Send Invitation to send a platform invitation on the email ID. Click Next to proceed to the next step.

In the next step, complete the process by updating the following information:

  1. Street Address

  2. City

  3. Province/State

  4. Postal Code/Zip

  5. Country

Check if the Mailing Address is Same as Primary Address. Click Save.

Once saved, you can view the borrower on the main Borrower dashboard. Click on a specific borrower to view details.

Upload relevant documents as supplied by the borrower. Example, Bank Statement, Certificate of Good Standing, Employer Identification Number, Articles of Incorporation, etc.

If the borrower had not been invited to the platform earlier, in the borrower details, click Invite User at the top right-hand corner of the dashboard.

To resend the verification email to the borrower, click on the three dots beside Email in the borrower details and click Resend Verification.

To associate a borrower with a corporation, in the borrower details, click Add to Corporation under Corporations.

Select the Corporation from the dropdown list. If the required Corporation is not on the list, click +Create a New Corporation to add the required Corporate Information.


Corporate Information (If Required)

  1. Add Title

  2. Choose Corporation/Limited Liability Company/Limited Partnership/Other from the dropdown list.

  3. Jurisdiction

  4. Tax ID

  5. Phone

Click Next and add further details. Click Save.


Once the Corporation is selected/added, select Title and Role from the dropdown. Click Save.

Delete Borrower

To delete a borrower, click on the borrower on the Borrower Dashboard and click Preferences. Click Delete Borrower. Confirm Delete on the popup, or Cancel.

Corporate

In the popup, select the Account Type (Corporate). Click Next.

  1. Add Company Name.

  2. Choose Corporation/Limited Liability Company/Limited Partnership/Other from the dropdown list.

  3. Choose Jurisdiction from the dropdown list.

  4. Enter Tax ID.

  5. Enter Phone.

Click Next.

In the next step, complete the process by updating the following information:

  1. Company Street Address

  2. City

  3. Province/State

  4. Postal Code/Zip

  5. Country

Check if the Mailing Address is the Same as Primary Address. Click Save.

Once saved, you can view the borrower on the main Borrower dashboard. Click on a specific borrower to view details.

Upload relevant documents as supplied by the Corporation. Example, Bank Statement, Certificate of Good Standing, Employer Identification Number, Articles of Incorporation, etc.
