Adding Collateral details to a loan

Adding collateral details to your loan and populating loan valuation and statistics

To unlock the full functionality of a loan in Baseline, you'll need to include information about the collateral securing the loan.

Follow the steps below to add information about your collateral.

Recording collateral details

  1. Open the loan details page

  2. In the loan details page, click the collateral tab

  3. Once in the section, you can enter key details about the collateral on the loan. Important pieces of information to include are:
    ​

    1. Details about the Property Value

    2. Taxes and HOA fees and informations

    3. Property Features

    4. Unit information

    Entering these values will help automatically populate the statistics tab located under the general tab of your loan, as well as contribute to calculations for generating quotes for potential borrowers.

    You can also add multiple collaterals to a loan through the Plus (+) button on the tab panel, with separate sections for each address.
