FAQ's

1. What information is transferred to the Loan Card?

Anything mapped to a field inside the platform will automatically be transferred from the loan application to the corresponding Loan in the pipeline created by the application submission.

2. How do I map fields in the loan application?

  • Go to the Loan Application customization section in your settings.

  • Edit the question you want to map.

  • In the "Map To" field, search for and select the corresponding field in the loan.

  • Note: A field can only map to another field of the same type (e.g., text to text, number to number).

3. Is there any information prepopulated for the borrower?

Yes:

  • If the borrower fills out an application after the Loan in the pipeline is created, any fields mapped to existing loan data will be prepopulated in the application.

  • Additionally, if the borrower is logged into their account, the platform will prefill:

    • Borrower account details.

    • Guarantor information.

4. Will the information entered by the borrower override the existing loan information?

No, Baseline ensures the integrity of your existing data:

  • Any information already present in the Loan in the pipeline will remain unchanged.

  • The new information entered by the borrower will be stored in the Application tab of the Loan in the pipeline for your reference.
