Applications

This article describes how to create and manage loan applications, upload and view documents and submit the rehab budget.

New Loan Applications

To start a new loan application, click +Add Application in the top right-hand corner.

βœ… Please make sure to initiate a new loan application using the correct account.


⚠️ Most lenders require that loan applications be submitted using an entity.

πŸ›‘ Once a loan application has been started, it is not possible to change the primary borrower. Therefore, you will need to create a new application with the appropriate borrowing entity.

Saved Applications

Draft Applications

Draft applications (incomplete applications) that detail the Application #, Request Amount, and Closing Date

To access the currently open applications:

  1. Click on the application (of choice) card.

  2. The app redirects to the Loan Application form.

Once you successfully submit the application, the label changes from Draft to Submitted.

Submitted Applications

Click anywhere in the application card to access specific Actions for that application:

Application Summary

This tab shows the information submitted through the Loan Application Form.

Using the Actions button on the right

  • Download PDF of the submitted application.

  • Withdraw
    This reverses the submit action, changing the status to Draft

  • Delete / Archive
    These discard the application

Documents

Documents requested and shared by the Lender are shown here.

To upload a document, you may:

  • Drag and drop the file into the document slot, or

  • Click Upload and search for your file

You may upload multiple documents in the same slot, and your lender will receive all documents uploaded.

To view a shared document

  1. Click on the View Icon on the right.

  2. Print or Download the shared document using the icons on the top right corner.

Scope of Work

This is the section where you can add what work will be performed at the property.

The Rehab Budget is tied to the draw request process in our system.

Add Items

To add items to the rehab budget, click "+ Add Budget"

From the Add Budget popup, select:

  1. Nature of Work to be done (part of house renovation covered by loan)

  2. Work description

  3. Scale (light/moderate/extensive)

  4. Budget

Click Save.

Once you click save, you can view your budget on the Rehab Budget card.

Using a Worksheet

You can download the Worksheet template (in .xlsx format) from the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Once completed, upload the filled format through the same Worksheet button β€”> Upload.

Send for Review

Click Send for Review at the top right-hand corner of the Rehab Budget card.

You will receive a confirmation popup.

πŸ’‘ When a lender requests revisions, you will receive a notification with a brief explanation of the required changes.
