Sometimes, it may be necessary to remove an investment from a loan in the Funding section. However, any payments recorded after the loan was funded need to be removed before you can remove the funding, to ensure we maintain accuracy in calculating distributions.
Any funding can be reversed/deleted by doing the following:
On the Payments tab for the loan, hit the '...' next to the relevant payment, then hit 'reverse funding'
After the payment has been reversed, you can delete it by again choosing the '...' option and clicking delete
On the Funding tab for the loan, in the History section, delete any Transfers or Funding associated with that investment
On the Funding tab for the loan, you should now be able to delete the investment
